Perspectus Technology is a patented data visualization software platform that allows users to view, volumize and manipulate both anatomical models and patient scans in three dimensions (virtual reality, augmented reality or mixed reality).
Instead of just examining a figure on a 2D screen, Perspectus VR software allows users to enter a virtual world where they can manipulate the figures and view them from every angle. Images can be “grabbed”, segmented, moved in any direction or enlarged enough to even “walk through” to view from inside. Perspectus VR fully renders patient data, which allows students, clinicians and researchers to more accurately understand anatomical systems and measure the volume of structures viewed.
Perspectus VR utilizes actual patient DICOM images, not artist renderings. These images can then be used to create 3D spacial recordings and customized VR content without incurring additional cost.
